FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
(This section also includes the base rules, so please read carefully.)

Q: What is Beaumont University?
A: Beaumont university is a university-themed roleplaying events base established to recreate the real-world university experience through classes and after-school activities.

Q: Who can enroll?
A: Everyone can enroll in the university as long as they are a filo rp. However, it is recommended that you have a student, college student, or college au. enrollment in the university will only cater as a membership in the university’s organizations for extracurriculars. Classes are open for the public and do not require any membership in the university to be able to participate.

Q: Can professors enter the university too?
A: Users who are interested to be professors can be a beaufort as long as the professor applications are open. Please refer to @BEAUMONT_AREA for application details. Aspiring professors would have to pass an interview to be able to teach inside the university.

Q: How do I enroll at the university?
A: You can register at the enrollment form found at the bottom of this page. Please fill up the required information in the form, and please check if the information you have encoded is correct and free of errors before you submit it. We will only encode the details of your first registration upon enrollment. Once we have seen your registration, it will be evaluated.

No further applications will be entertained or processed beyond the enrollment period.

Q: Are we already enrolled once we register?
A: There is no guarantee that you will be enrolled in the university once registered. The basis of the evaluation is solely dependent on your answers in the registration form and your score in the entrance exam. Once you have passed, you will be given an official student id and acceptance letter. This indicates that you are a bonafide student of Beaumont University.

Q: What should we do during the enrollment process?
A: As mentioned before, please do check the information you encoded before you submit your registration form. Do not forget to send us the screenshot of the last page as proof of your registration. A message will be sent to you to confirm the information you have input. During this process, please do not deactivate or change your username, as your enrollment will be voided or marked as invalid.

Please open your direct messages during the enrollment period for us to be able to send you a message.

Q: How can I change my information once I am enrolled?
A: There is an information changes form available at the bottom of this page, just below the enrollment form. You can input the information you wish to change in the form. However, we only allow changes after two weeks of enrollment or two weeks after your most recent information change. In addition, this is not applicable when changing your information during the enrollment process.

Although we do not limit the number of times you can change your information, please refrain from making numerous changes as much as possible. This is in respect to the editors who have worked hard to produce your id and letters, so please make sure the information you have input is correct and final.

Please take note that users who would be changing their information without informing the base would be kicked out immediately.

Q: What should I do when taking a hiatus or leaving the base?
A: The form for taking a hiatus or dropping out is also available in the information changes form. If you are planning to take a rest or dropping out, please do inform the base. We will not be meddling with your reasons and rest assured that your details will be kept confidential.

Users who would be 'ghosting' the base or deactivating without prior notice and while in the university would be kicked out automatically.

Q: How are classes and activities conducted in the university?
A: Classes are conducted to the public according to the availability of a professor, and are not held on a fixed time. A professor will set an appointment for 1 (one) class and will provide a sign-up sheet for interested students that will be attending the class. Professors should meet the minimum number of three classes for each semester.

Activities on the other hand, are organized by the council officers, organizational officers, organizations, or a combined effort of the three parties. It may be open to the public or may be a private celebration.

Q: What should I do in case I encounter something unethical or harmful?
A: If you have questions or experience any problems within your stay, please dm the base, any student council member or any organizational officer immediately. We do not tolerate any actions indicating harassment or any form of negativity or harm. We'll give you warnings; three strikes and you're out.

All cases will undergo a deliberation with the student council.

Q: What behavior is expected from Beauforts?
A: Beauforts are always expected to uphold the university's core values. We ask for your participation and attention during events and activities. Although we understand that the users have lives outside of the roleplay world too, it would be much appreciated if you attend the events even for just a short period of time. This is also in respect to the organizers of the events and activities!

Q: How long is one semester in Beaumont University?
A: One semester in the university lasts for a maximum of three months, activities and events included.

Q: How is attendance recorded?
A: Attendance is recorded through the timeline every Monday of the week.

1. Please keep your id and enrollment paraphernalia at all times. This ensures that you are officially enrolled at our university and will be used in events and activities.
2. Feel free to contribute ideas and suggestions!
3. We encourage you to invite your friends to join the base too. the more, the merrier!
4. Please respect everybody, regardless of their position.
